Fortis started in 2006 as an international carrier focused on quality SIP-trunk and A2P SMS termination — the unglamorous infrastructure that lets enterprises reach customers reliably across borders. The wholesale model was the foundation: direct relationships with major operators, premium and standard routes, transparent per-destination quality.
Carriers, MVNOs, ITSPs, and enterprises routed their traffic on us. As the wholesale base grew, customers asked for cleaner ways to consume the same routes — without SMPP binds and SIP configuration overhead. We answered with four programmable APIs that sit on the network we already operate.
VeloConnect (SMS, voice, OTP, omnichannel), VeloeSIM (eSIM and roaming), VeloPBX (cloud PBX and contact center), and VeloVerify (HLR and MNP lookups). Same routes. Same quality. Billed per-call, per-message, per-MB, or per-lookup.
