VeloConnect / Wholesale SMS
Wholesale SMS · SMPP

Wholesale A2P SMS — direct SMPP, with an AM included.

Trunk-only SMPP connectivity for messaging providers, MVNOs, and in-house enterprise platforms. Direct routes, 24-hour bind, a real human attached to your account.

  • 20+ Direct interconnects
  • Worldwide via 1-hop tier-1 routes
  • 99.99% Network uptime
  • 24h Time to SMPP bind
High-touch wholesale

Your account manager isn't a portal ticket — it's a person.

Most tier-1 wholesalers hand you a dashboard and a Zendesk queue. We give you a routing engineer who knows your traffic.

Faster onboarding

KYC + MSA + test bind in days, not weeks. Most customers are sending production traffic within 7–10 days of first call.

Weekly traffic review

Your AM watches your DLR rates, ASRs, and route quality and proactively flags issues — before you do.

Custom rate sheets

We don't email you a 2,000-row PDF. We tune the rate sheet to the corridors and volume tiers you actually send to.

Connectivity

Built for SMPP buyers who run their own platform.

Plain-spec answers to the audit checklist every routing team has on day one.

Looking for HTTPS API instead of SMPP? Use VeloConnect — talk to your AM for volume pricing.

Pricing

Tell us your monthly volume, main corridors, and platform setup. We reply within one business day with an MCC/MNC-corridor CSV rate sheet and SMPP test credentials.

Onboarding

From first call to production traffic in under two weeks.

  1. NDA + AM intro call

Day 0. We learn your platform, corridors, volumes. You meet the routing engineer who will be on your account.

  2. KYC + MSA + commercial terms

Day 1–3. Light KYC (corporate docs + tax ID), MSA + commercial pricing schedule, prepaid or postpaid set up.

  3. SMPP test bind

Day 3–7. Credentials issued. You run real test traffic on staging routes; we tune the route plan with you.

  4. Production cutover

Day 7–10. Production binds, monitoring access, gradual ramp on the corridors you care about.

  5. Weekly traffic review with your AM

Ongoing. ASRs, DLR rates, route swaps, sender-ID registration support, and rate-card refreshes every quarter.

Quality & compliance

We don't claim certifications we don't hold. Here's what we do commit to.

White-route policy

We route through registered, contractually-correct paths. We don't fill traffic over grey routes that get blocked next quarter.

Sender-ID registration

We handle DLT (India), KSA, UAE, Pakistan, Egypt, Bangladesh, Turkey, Nigeria, and others on request. Your AM walks you through it.

Direct vs transit honesty

On any rate sheet we send you, every destination is marked direct (zero-hop) or 1-hop transit. No marketing fog about coverage.

AIT-aware routing

We monitor traffic patterns for artificially-inflated traffic and engage you if something looks off. Your reputation is our reputation.

Validation

Validate the route before you commit.

Request SMPP test credentials. Typical turnaround: 24 hours. No MSA required for test traffic on staging routes.

Questions

Common questions from routing teams.

What's the minimum monthly commitment?

None. We don't believe in minimums for wholesale connectivity — you pay for what you send, and that's it.

How fast until I can send production traffic?

Most customers are in production within 7–10 days. SMPP test bind itself comes in 24h after the kickoff call. The MSA is the gating item — we keep it short.

Can I get a test bind without signing the MSA?

Yes. Test bind on staging routes is available pre-MSA so you can validate routing quality before committing.

Do you support sender-ID registration in [my market]?

We support DLT (India), KSA, UAE, Pakistan, Egypt, Bangladesh, Turkey, Nigeria, and most regulated markets — on request. Your AM owns the submission process.

What's your AIT (artificially inflated traffic) policy?

We monitor traffic patterns for AIT and reach out the moment something looks unusual. We will pause and discuss before billing escalates — not after.

Are routes direct or transit?

20+ destinations are zero-hop (direct operator interconnect). The rest is 1-hop via tier-1 partners. Every line on every rate sheet we send is marked direct or transit.

Do you support TLS-SMPP?

Yes. Encrypted bind is supported alongside plain SMPP. Specify TLS=yes in your test-bind request.

Prepaid or postpaid?

Both. Prepaid is available immediately; postpaid is subject to a credit review. Most customers start prepaid and migrate to postpaid once the relationship is established.

What's the SLA / refund policy on undelivered messages?

Operator-side undeliverables (handset off, blacklisted MSISDN, etc.) are billed per industry norms. Network-side issues on our route get refunded — your AM reconciles every month against the CDRs.

Where's your infrastructure located?

Single POP in Frankfurt (DE-CIX). EU-grounded for low-latency peering across EU, MENA, and CIS. Within-POP bind redundancy via secondary URLs. Cross-region failover is on the roadmap.

What if I just want HTTP API, not SMPP?

Use VeloConnect's HTTPS API at your AM-negotiated wholesale pricing. See /products/veloconnect/ or talk to your AM.
