Getting Started with VeloPBX

Introduction

VeloPBX is a multi-tenant cloud telephony platform that provides your organization with full PBX (Private Branch Exchange) capability. This section helps you orient yourself in the system, regardless of your role.

What is VeloPBX?

VeloPBX is a hosted telephony system that delivers:

  • Internal communication — extension-to-extension calling
  • External connectivity — outbound and inbound PSTN calling via SIP trunks
  • Auto-attendant (IVR) — menu-driven inbound call routing
  • Call queues — agent-based queueing for sales, support, and operations
  • Voicemail — voice messaging for every extension
  • Conferencing — multi-party audio/video conferences
  • Call recording — recording and storage of calls
  • CDR — call detail records and reporting
