Welcome
Use this guide if you are an extension holder — someone who places and receives calls on a VeloPBX extension — and not the IT administrator for your organization. Here you will find everything you need to take control of your own line: how to sign in to the Web Portal, set up call forwarding, manage voicemail, switch on Do Not Disturb, record a call, and join a conference.
If you are looking for tenant administration topics (creating extensions, configuring trunks, building IVRs), see the Tenant Admin Guide instead.

Two Ways to Control Your Extension
Most end-user features can be configured in two equivalent ways:
- Web Portal — the browser interface at https://pbx.fortis-tele.com:8887, ideal for setting things up once and for managing voicemails and recordings.
- Feature Access Codes (FACs) — short star codes you dial directly from your IP phone (for example,
*78to switch on Do Not Disturb). FACs are the fastest way to toggle a feature in the moment.
Each page in this guide shows both methods where they apply.
