VeloConnect — Guide

Transactions and invoices

Every event that touches the wallet shows up in Settings → Billing → Transactions — top-ups, usage debits, refunds, tier fees, all in one chronological list. Monthly invoices land here too.

What lands in Transactions

  • Top-ups — every credit to the wallet. Card payments, bank transfers, and auto top-up runs each show with the method and reference.
  • Usage charges — one row per billable event. Sending a campaign of 1,000 SMS produces one row tagged with the campaign ID. Outbound call minutes, inbound SMS on mobile DIDs, and per-message channel charges all show here.
  • DID rentals — monthly debits for every phone number on your account. Billed on the first of the month, prorated for numbers added mid-month.
  • Tier subscription debits — the monthly Pro or Enterprise flat fee, debited on the first of the month.
  • Refunds — credits we issue back when a charge fails for a reason on our side (a carrier outage, a Meta-side template rejection after delivery, etc.). Tagged Refund with a link back to the original charge.

Each row carries the date, type, amount, currency, running wallet balance, and a reference (campaign, contact, phone number, or invoice).

Filtering and exporting

The chips at the top of the list filter by:

  • Type — top-up, usage, refund, tier fee, DID rental.
  • Date range — preset (this month, last month, last 90 days) or custom.
  • Channel — SMS, WhatsApp, Viber, voice, etc. Useful when you’re investigating “why was WhatsApp $400 this month?”
  • Campaign — narrow to charges for a specific campaign.
  • Contact — every billable interaction with a given contact.

The Export CSV button respects whatever filters you’ve set. The CSV opens cleanly in any spreadsheet — handy for monthly finance reconciliation and for tagging charges to internal cost centres.

Monthly invoices

VeloConnect generates one consolidated invoice per calendar month. It bundles:

  • The tier flat fee for that month
  • All usage charges (messaging, voice, DIDs) from the same period
  • Refunds netted in
  • Top-ups, as memo lines (not part of the chargeable total)

The invoice arrives by email at the billing address on the first business day of the following month. It’s also downloadable from the right rail of the Transactions screen as a PDF — pick the month from the dropdown.

The billing address lives in Settings → Billing → Company details. Keep it current; that’s the legal entity the invoice is issued to.

A note on VAT and taxes

VAT and other tax handling aren’t included in V1 invoices. Line items show net amounts only; tax treatment in your jurisdiction is the customer’s responsibility. Talk to your accountant if you need invoices to include a specific tax breakdown — for now, the CSV export plus the PDF cover most reconciliation needs.
